Which one fits? The bar should come to their waist

The bar is what you size on, and it should come up to their waist. Too low and they stoop over it and cannot spin it cleanly. Too high and they cannot turn it at all.

So measure from the floor to their waist, and match that number to the bar height below. Rider height is the quick guide; the waist measurement is the real test.

  1. Stand them against a wall, in the shoes they will ride in.
  2. Measure from the floor to their waist.

Three of the four bars adjust, so there is room to grow. Only the Bounce is fixed, and that is deliberate: it is a full-size stunt bar from the start.

The Kickstart and the Fusion Tornado have the same bar range, so if the waist measurement suits both, the deck is what decides. The Fusion is wider and steadier for bigger tricks.

Before you buy

No tramp, no worries

You do not need a trampoline. The name is misleading. These work on the grass, on the carpet, on the driveway, anywhere flat. It is the all-rounder for perfecting tricks, and it saves the ankle knocks.

What makes that possible is the same thing that makes it safe on a tramp: no wheels, and a foam deck. Everything else about it is a scooter, the bar, the headtube, the way it spins, so the tricks transfer. A bar spin learned at home is the same bar spin at the skatepark, just learned somewhere that does not hurt when it goes wrong.

  • Grass, carpet, the driveway, anywhere flat. A trampoline is an option, not a requirement
  • No wheels, so nothing to damage a trampoline mat or a floor
  • Every deck is foam, so every deck flexes. A missed landing is a bounce, not a graze
  • Real stunt bars and headtubes, so it feels like the scooter they already ride

Land softer, try more, learn faster. That is the actual argument for one of these.

The things people ask before they buy

How do I know which one fits?

The bar should come up to their waist. Measure from the floor to their waist and match it to the bar height: the Kickstart and Fusion Tornado run 570 to 670mm, the Bounce is fixed at 648mm, and the Pro V2 is 690 to 740mm.

Three of the four adjust, so there is room to grow. If two of them fit, the deck decides: a wider deck is steadier for bigger tricks.

Can they only ride it on a trampoline?

No, and this is the thing most people get wrong about them. A trampoline is an option, not a requirement. They work on grass, on carpet, on the driveway, anywhere flat. No trampoline needed.

Will it damage the trampoline?

No. None of them has wheels, and every deck is foam, so every deck flexes. That is what protects the mat and the rider, and it is true of all four.

Which one is best for learning tricks?

The INDO Kickstart is the learner. Move to the Fusion Tornado when they want to land bigger things and need a wider deck under them.

The Madd Gear Bounce is the one that does both. It has full-size stunt bars and a real Madd Gear headtube, so a beginner learns on the geometry they will still be riding years later.

What is the difference between the Fusion Tornado and the Pro V2?

Both are for 160cm and up. The Fusion Tornado has the widest deck here, so it is the more stable of the two and the easier one to progress on. The Pro V2 has the tallest bars, aircraft-grade aluminium and a ball head tuned for speed, so it is the lighter, faster and more advanced of the two.

Does the bar adjust?

On the Kickstart, Fusion Tornado and Pro V2, yes. The Bounce bar is fixed, deliberately: it is a full-size stunt bar from day one, so the rider never outgrows it.

How long is the warranty?

Two years on the Madd Gear Bounce. One year on all three INDO scooters.

Do you sell spare parts for them?

We hold some, but they are model-specific and not interchangeable, so get in touch and tell us exactly which scooter you have and we will find the right one.
