Electric Dirt Bikes

Motorbike shape, electric motor, no petrol and no noise. Knobby tyres, a twist throttle and a hand brake, built to be ridden on grass and dirt rather than the footpath.

Sizing is simple. Measure their inside leg and match it to the seat height, then sit them on it and check they can still touch the ground. Seat heights run from 40cm on the Madd Gear My 1st Mini up to 58cm on the MX650.

The My 1st Mini is the one people miss. It is the same size as the MX125 with a lower seat, and more power: 160W against 100W, 16km/h against 13km/h. The smallest bike, not the slowest.

At the other end, the MX650 is an adult machine. Ages 16 up, carries up to 99kg, with dual disc brakes and suspension front and rear.
